Honestly...I think the part of this whole thing that angers me the most is the stupid parents not bothering to read up on the ds anyway! I mean, duh. Nintendo put it right there in black and white. If a parent didn't have the do diligence to check out what their kid was playing with it's no one's fault but their own! Shut up you stupid media and start blaming parents again.

I feel better now. I've stopped watching the news, because quite frankly, all it seems to be is one reason after another that I should be terrified for my life and wellbeing.
Yeah, having an all-access instant messenger is disconcerting in the hands of a child, who can possibly be solicited, but for crying out loud... I bet they [child molestors] didn't even have that idea till the silly fox broadcast came out.
But I think Freud had a good point when he said that parents are the root of many children's issues. Not the end all and be all, mind you. There are obvious exceptions in the nature vs nurture argument, but here's a lark.
*sits down in front of child* Don't talk to strangers. Ever. They could be nice, but they could be bad and try to hurt you. If you want to talk to anyone, let me talk to them first. *end of conversation*
My mother had this conversation with me when I was little. Does it just not happen anymore? *shakes head*
At any rate, enjoy. Oh, and I'm really not this cynical, promise. :) I don't watch the news, remember? I'm quite care free and happy. ;)
